IPOEasy is a Chrome extension that helps users apply for IPOs and check IPO results on MeroShare (meroshare.cdsc.com.np) and IPO Result (iporesult.cdsc.com.np) for multiple family members at once. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

IPOEasy does not collect, transmit, or share any user data with external servers. All data stays on your device.

2. Data We Store

The extension stores the following information locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API (chrome.storage.local):

Member name — To identify family members in the panel
BOID — 16-digit beneficiary owner ID for form filling
MeroShare login credentials — Depository Participant (DP), username, and password for automated login
ASBA details — CRN number, bank name, and transaction PIN for IPO application

3. How Data Is Used

Your stored data is used solely to:

Auto-fill login forms on MeroShare
Auto-fill IPO application forms with your ASBA details
Check IPO allotment results by logging into each member's account

All actions happen directly in your browser on the official MeroShare and IPO Result websites. The extension does not make any API calls to third-party servers.

5. Data Deletion

You have full control over your data. You can delete member profiles at any time through the extension's Manage Members panel. Uninstalling the extension automatically removes all stored data from your browser.

IPOEasy does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. The extension only interacts with the official CDSC websites that you are already using.

8. Children's Privacy

This extension is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
